We appreciate the opportunity you've given us to help you manage and monitor your home heating and your energy bills and we would really like to continue offering you existing and new services over the next decade.

The company has been successful over the years with technology installed in over 100,000 Irish Homes but unfortunately rising costs hit our business very hard. The impact of Covid was devastating on our business followed by the energy crisis and then a decision by SEAI in 2022 to remove their grants for remote heating controls that were being deployed by utility companies at scale.

This resulted in climote running into trading difficulty in October 2023 and seeking new investment to support the restructuring of the business going forward. The assets of climote have now been bought with new investment, with the aim of continuing to support over 100,000 households who rely on climote every day to manage their home heating systems.

We are seeking our customers' support to make this work. We believe that our new investment will help us create new products similar to our new hot water tank immersion controller and an energy saving support and advice service to help our customers connect and manage their energy and carbon footprint - both today and in the future.
